Twenty years have passed since magic was outlawed. Any who are identified as Mages or Alchemists are marked and registered by the government with a number, found on the wrist of known magic users. These individuals live in poverty and are the outcasts of society. Any found magical items are confiscated and destroyed, and the punishment for using and keeping them ranges from imprisonment to death. The seeds of discontent are well sown. A small but effective rebel group, known as the Left Hand have formed and work in an underground. Do they seek equality or full control? That has yet to be seen...but one thing is known for certain, they do mean serious business.
Six months ago the Left Hand infiltrated the royal palace and kidnapped the Princess. They left no sign of where they went, what they did with her, or how the King and Queen can get her back, but it is clear she is intended to be a bargaining piece.
What will become of the Princess? Will peace ever be found between the magical and the non-magical? That all depends on you.
