So you have read all those Marvel Headcanons you see all over the internet right? No? Seriously... Okay well climb out from under that rock and go hit up Google, or Tumblr, or Pinterest...or anything! They are all over the place. Some are serious. Some are silly. Some are romantic and others are just random! But they propose some fun scenarios. Or at the very least some intriguing ideas. Bring all of those Headcanon and/or Meme dreams you have about your favorite Marvel character here, to The Still of the Night. Explore their real life side, who they are away from the cape, mask, shield, or villainous ways. Play them out to your hearts content! Always wanted to play out the romance between Jean Grey and Scott Summers? Or perhaps you have always wondered what it would be like if Jean was with Wolverine instead. This is your place to play it out, test it out, and enjoy it!!
Not overly familiar with Marvel characters or even have any Marvel knowledge? No problems!! We are laid back, easy going, and relaxed. It is a judgement free zone from the Admin team to the members. Nobody is going to tell you that you are 'doing it wrong.' Maybe you would like to ease into the whole superhero thing and start with an Average Joe human. Go for it!! If you don't know much about Marvel lore and would like to explore and learn about characters through your own human character we welcome that!
This is the place to get into the Marvel roleplay world if you never have been. The place for those who are currently in it (or were in it) to do something a little more relaxed and that isn't super focused on canon. The Still of the Night is set in New York City in current time. It is Pre-Infinity War (Thanos isn't coming). It operates on Marvel MCU and/or Marvel 616 lore. Original characters (powered or not) are welcome and encouraged. The atmosphere is inviting and there is almost always someone in the site Discord to help you out if you need it or if you just want to chat! We want to see you bring that excitement for characters maybe you never thought you could play or always wanted to. Are you over there thinking 'well my favorite character died in -insert something here- so can't play them.' WRONG! This is not only roleplay but it is Marvel too. Sure it is real life focused but again...it is still roleplay. Nobody ever stays dead in Marvel (unless you are Uncle Ben...RIP). Bring them back to life! 'Well how do I bring them back?' However you want to! If you want it to be some elaborate endeavor by all means! Wanna go simple and say 'it was a Skrull before' that works too. This is truly your playground to enjoy these characters however you want!
